It all started one morning when I was bored and looking for something to do. I asked around to other gods to see what was going on. After a while, I came upon Poseidon who was quite happy. I personally don't like Poseidon, so I asked him what's going on. Poseidon eventually said "a wanderer named Odysseus, who took down Troy is now sailing home through many obstacles." I surprisingly took interest to this and I decided to meet with this man. Next, I went to this man's ship and spoke with him. A great deal of time went by and finally I got Odysseus to accept my challenge of bringing me the eye of the cyclops Polyphemus. I then left the ship and some time until I heard about Odysseus again, but it wasn't of the cyclops instead of how he made it through the island of the Lotus Eaters. Then, I finally heard of Odysseus nearing the cave of Polyphemus. I went to the island to observe this encounter. After Odysseus was done with this feat I went to speak with him, and I said "you failed to complete my challenge, but you did injure the beast. I will not take away your crew as the deal stated, but instead I will do something of minor harm to you." I wanted Odysseus to take the eye of Polyphemus because as I mentioned earlier I dislike Poseidon and I knew that if Odysseus took his son's eye it would change his mood from happy to being quite angry. Later on in his journey Odysseus prayed to the gods and I decided his punishment for not completing my challenge would be that I will put him into a sleep. That is the last of my encounters with Odysseus.
